As a young girl SHAKIRA LEA FAUSER began writing songs, winning awards and performing.

In late 2018 SHAKIRA LEA was named a WINNER of the prestigious WHYALLA RECORDING SCHOLARSHIP (www.whyallarecording.com) and released her Debut Original Winner’s Single and music video called “I Miss You” as part of her prize.

“I Miss You’ is dedicated to anyone who’s experienced loss, and found a way to heal, showcasing Shakira Lea’s emotive vocals and sincere message.

Hitting Number 18 on the Australian iTunes Country Music chart “I Miss You” continues to receive airplay across Australia and the world.

The WHYALLA RECORDING SCHOLARSHIP provides the resources for a young, Original and Regional South Australian to audition for and win a Professional recording package valued at over $10,000 courtesy of award-winning music studio STORMFRONT PRODUCTIONS.

As a continuing project of WRS, Stormfront sponsored the 2021 release of SHAKIRA LEA’s follow-up single, a co-write with Alison Hams called “Drowning”.

Shakira Lea performs at festivals, fundraisers and concert events across South Australia with the world famous Tunarama Festival and Whyalla’s “Carols In The Park” in front of 5500 people rating among her favourite gigs so far. She has the perfect voice to blend modern country and pop and loves to perform her original material.
