Warwick Scott

Solo guitar instrumental

Warwick Scott is best known as a founding member and guitar player for the band “SKUNKHOUR”. The band released four albums and toured internationally for 12 years, calling it a day in early 2002. In recent years, Skunkhour have reformed and play a few gigs a year around the country. Now a resident of South Australia, Warwick has been playing solo instrumental guitar gigs around the traps recently. The style is that of Chet Atkins, Jerry Reed and Tommy Emmanuel, to name a few. He also plays some bluesy slide guitar in the manner of Ry Cooder and Muddy Waters. The set is rounded off with some soul-full jazz standards, and some original instrumentals. Warwick is an experienced session-player, both as a guitarist and as a musical director/arranger and programmer.
