The Drum Shop Derringers Music presents a special clinic by Dean Butterworth, the drummer for Good Charlotte. Adelaide is lucky enough to have Dean present a drum work shop here on the 2nd of November at the majestic Chapel Lane Studios. Dean will talk about his experiences and follow up his presentation with a break down of his drum solos and performance. Womad EARTH STATION today (18 August) unveiled more details of the prominent performers and speakers headlining its inaugural festival, to be held in the Belair National Park Adelaide from 21–23 October. The Australian String Quartet has announced the composer line-up for its National Composers' Forum, running 12-14 August 2011. Committed to fostering new Australian works by emerging composers, the Australian String Quartet (ASQ) hosted a pilot Composers' Forum in 2009, with Adelaide University. Proving so successful they expanded nationally in 2010 and this year its National Composers' Forum, held at The University of Adelaide 12-14 August, attracted a staggering 33 submissions from across Australia.

A Day On The Green runs in the Australian summer months from October – March with more than 40 concerts per season. South Australians can enjoy the next concert in the series, with Steely Dan, Steve Winwood & Oh Mercy in McLaren Vale on 30 October.
