Prepare your ears & eyes for a sensory experience like no other! South Australia’s Zephyr Quartet team up with the excitingly unpredictable visual/performance artist Jo Kerlogue to present MICROmacro - a new music & live improvised visual art performance,  guaranteed to elicit a powerful emotional response from audiences when it's presented at The Wheatsheaf Hotel on February 25, 26, 28 & 29 and March 1 & 2 as part of the Adelaide Fringe 2012.

A site-specific three-way conversation between sound, vision and space - MICROmacro is an organic collision of the unexpected and surreal, the beautiful and absurd. In a world where the refined, absolute and ordered are at the forefront of our existence, it offers a glimpse into the evolving, organic nature of life with a show that is utterly unique every time it’s performed.

Audiences will be taken on an extraordinary and intimate 50 minute journey with the artists as they craft a universe where worlds are created, destroyed and then resolved into yet another entity entirely. Within the performance itself - paint drips symbiotically with the music; the scratch and squeak of charcoal fuses effortlessly with strings; cut and collaged elements of music and imagery form a completely analogue performance which is dirty, organic, darkly beautiful and catastrophic.

Australia is now host to the Conscious Music Festival! Held in at Willunga Waldorf School Grounds in South Australia on March 3rd 2012, it features 8 excellent artists, workshops, stalls, food and more!

On the bill are Heather Frahn, Joe Man Murphy, Debra Gibson & The Rising Lotus, The Wandering Minstrels, Dan Coates, Minority Tradition, Cosmic Flower, and Will Kallinderis.

You can also participate in a choice of engaging workshops (including sound healing, chanting, drumming, indigenous skincare, infinite happiness meditation and wu tao). Food and drink available, including a Persian-style Chai Tent, as well as stalls selling ethical, cruelty-free and eco-friendly products.

Bursting onto the Adelaide music scene in early 2011, Little Two Eyes are an angelic alternative pop band; brutally delicate and mood driven arrangements juxtaposed against fragile and explosive moments, and a gritty live energy that lingers with you long after you've left the venue. Along with Miami based producer Kramer they've created an exciting debut EP, set for release 3 March during the Fringe Festival.
