Here's your chance to win assorted prizes from South Australian artists. CDs, gig tickets, merchandise - it's all up for grabs. Just have a look at the current list to see what's currently available. Winners are usually drawn on a monthly basis, and draw dates are listed next to each entry.
TO ENTER A CONTEST
All contest prizes are handled directly by MusicSA, not the artists - so don't hassle them please!
DIRECTIONS!
Email MusicSA ONCE, with the SUBJECT HEADING 'CONTEST ENTRY':
Include the following details in your email:
- CONTEST NAME(S) *PLEASE specify ALL contests you wish to enter
- YOUR NAME
- YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS
- YOUR POSTAL ADDRESS
Entries without email AND postal addresses will be deemed invalid and deleted. (Postal addresses are necessary for the purpose of the contest correspondence, and will be used only for this purpose).
If you DO NOT wish to join MusicSA's e-mailing list, please indicate on your entry.
You may only submit 1 ENTRY (multiple emails will be deleted), BUT - you can enter as many DIFFERENT contests as you like - just list all the ones you want to enter on your email.
WINNERS WILL BE NOTIFIED BY EMAIL on the draw date, and items will be posted to the address provided as soon as possible.
Flattery and bribes are pointless, people - it's a random draw! ;)
TO SUBMIT ITEMS FOR A CONTEST
Contest Corner space is limited; priority will be given to artists with MusicSA listings.
If you are a music-related business and want to submit a prize, please contact MusicSA to discuss.
All contests are posted at MusicSA's discretion, and less (or 0) items may be selected for inclusion.
Preferred contest prizes include:
- RECENT CDs (ie. no more than 1 year old); EPs and singles are welcome.
We require a minimum of 3 CDs for the contest (send a 4th if you'd like to be considered for a Review). Also, please provide a SCAN OF THE CD COVER (200pixels wide minimum, 72 dpi), and some details about the recording.
- MERCHANDISE (T-shirts, stickers, badges etc); 'packs' of items are preferred (e.g. T-shirt & sticker; CD and badge etc). Please don't offer us one badge or sticker for a contest prize...
(Merchandise prizes should be discussed directly with MusicSA)
Email MusicSA with details of your prize offer for consideration, and we will email you to confirm the list of selected items.
You can then post the material to MusicSA at the following address:

MusicSA will notify you when contest materials have been received. PLEASE make sure materials arrive at least ONE WEEK before the prize draw date. If materials are not received by this time, your contest may be removed from the list. MusicSA will handle distributing the prizes to the winners.
