The Media Resource Centre invites SA filmmakers to submit their entries into SA’s highest accolade in film, the 2016 South Australian Screen Awards (SASAs). The 17th edition of the awards will take place in May, but nominations are now open for 20 categories, including Best Music Video.

The awards recognise excellence and innovation with excellent cash prizes as well as outstanding equipment, hire and gift packages.

“Each year the SASAs are one of the big highlights of the SA film calendar bringing together the entire industry to celebrate the best up-coming talent working in short works including online. Many of the State’s best feature filmmakers were talented spotted at the SASAs,” says Media Resource Centre’s Director Gail Kovatseff.

So, bands – if you have an excellent video clip made by a local filmmaker, get them to submit an entry!
