Here is some highlighted events being held on Saturday 16 April for Record Store Day in Adelaide! Make sure you get along to support the scene, and pick up some vinyl!

JIVE
Jive Record Bar, upstairs at 181 Hindley St, Adlaide, SA, which stocks second-hand vinyl, CDs, DVDs, tour T-Shirts, turntables, books and more, recently reopened its doors and will be open in the downstairs section of Jive from high noon until 4pm on Record Store Day. The licensed bar will also be open for refreshments and if you procure a pint of Coopers Ale, you go in the running for a lovely suitcase.

CLARITY RECORDS
Clarity Records is excited to be celebrating international Record Store Day again for 2016. The date of this years event is on Saturday April 16 and we will be going crazy again by doing our usual 24 hour opening marathon! This mean we will be open 12:00am Saturday morning of the 16th (or Friday night as some may think of it) and then trading all the way until 12:00am Sunday Morning (Saturday Night). This is a huge day and we can’t wait to share it with you!

THE JADE

Record Store Day is a worldwide celebration of independent music stores. And this year, The Muses are hosting a pop-up for one day only at The Jade, Adelaide. It’s all about giving love to local retailers and celebrating tangible, tactile, turntable-able music. Vinyl. CDs. Stuff you can hold onto.

Record Store Day is an annual event, , held on the third Saturday of April each year to celebrate the culture of the independently owned record store. The day brings together fans, artists, and thousands of independent record stores across the world.

Join us for Record Store Day Australia in Adelaide. Come out and support local Vinyl slingers! Lindes Lane will have food and drink specials all day and the legends from Fresh 92.7 will be spinning nothing but the BEST wax!

STREETLIGHT ADELAIDE
To celebrate International Record Store Day, Streetlight Adelaide are throwing you a party.
The store will be open from 8am-8pm and there will be many exclusive Record Store Day releases available on the day. There will also be a whole stack of specials and new stock.
To make it official, we’ve invited a bunch of great local bands/artists to perform live in-store from 3pm.

We like to put on some live music on Record Store Day. This Saturday we have a few of the usual suspects and a few first timers, who we trust will be performing the first record they ever bought. Here’s a rough playing schedule (weather permitting).
