The October long weekend is always a celebration for Adelaide – given the last one was back in the cold days of June. Over the past few years, its been a weekend of live music down at Semaphore, courtesy of Semaphore Music Festival. Whilst the majority of the day is held on the big stage on the foreshore (featuring acts such as The Heggarties, Koral & The Goodbye Horses, Wasted Wanderers, Cosmo Thundercat, Max Savage & His False Idols, Conchilla, Kaurna Cronin, The Timbers, The Bakers Suite, Trent Worley and more), you can also visit places like the Semaphore Workers Club (The Lachy Doley Group, Cal Williams JR and more), Mr V Records (Wild Rocket, Subtract-S, Vic Conrad & The 1st 3rd and more), Semaphore & Port Adelaide RSL, Exeter Hotel, The Fed, and The Semaphore Palais.

For $20 you can get a 3 day general admission pass that will let you get into all venues, otherwise day tickets are available at all venues.

With the weather forecast to be one of the best long weekends we have seen in a while, what better place to go catch some live music!
