There’s been a pretty big rise in bedroom artists over the last five years, with recording equipment easier to obtain, and huge acts such as Flume and Baths influencing left-field production work. With this movement, there are some hidden treasures buried among the ever-growing Soundcloud library, and newcomer Tracy Chen has certainly given the world one of these precious gems.

The track is as delicate as it is emotive, with a somewhat lo-fi guitar riff underpinning various samples of what sounds like Chen’s voice, giving the track a feeling akin to a windy Autumn day. It’s a mostly instrumental release, and while it does largely repeat itself, this doesn’t really the overall enjoyment factor. If you need some more study music, or if you’re just looking for a track to make you feel a little nicer, this may be the one for you.
