The Long Road Tour is a massive rock tour spanning two states across rural SA and WA, with concerts in Mt. Gambier, Port Augusta, and Kalgoorlie in early October. Featuring The Butterfly Effect, The Screaming Jets, Lawless Breed, and Kevin Borich Feat. Lucius Borich (Cog).

A fifth band will be selected from a regional band comp with the winner going on to open their home towns concert, to play infront of a crowd of over 3,000, and have their set recorded. This is a great opportunity to meet the bands, and network with people in the industry, and book more shows for your band.

The band Comps will be held in each major town in September, so register your band now and dont miss out on this amazing opportunity.

Band Comp entry fees are $100. Each band that successfully gets into a heat for the comp will recieve 2 half price tickets to the concert of their choice. Each successful entry will also recieve a band bag loaded with free samples and goodies from our many sponsors and affiliates. Also the band comp will be recorded and each band will recieve an MP3 recording of their set.

Entries for the comps close 5 days before each competition, with heats beginning early September Heats will be held where the highest demand is, culminating with finals in major regional centres.

We welcome entries from all music genres and different group sizes, dont be shy to enter if you're a solo artist, duo or trio. Dont be afraid to be original in your application.

Entry fees are not payable until your group has been guaranteed a heat date and time.
