In Adelaide's East End is a pub which is slightly off the beaten track in terms of location and style. The Crown & Anchor Hotel, situated on the Corner of Union and Grenfell streets is only a short walk from the madness of Rundle St. It has long been a home to musicians and fans of live and original music as well as show casing some of the most innovative DJs in our fine city. Also offering 2 pool tables, juke box, pinball machine, darts board & some of the finest tasting Coopers in Adelaide, there really is something for everyone.

Preferred Music Styles: Original and alternative. Everything from rock, goth, punk & ska to folk & blues.

MONDAYS

· Acoustic folk and blues sessions in the front bar from 8pm

· Pool Comp – free entry with $50 bar tab for winner

TUESDAYS

· Industry Night for Adelaide’s Hospitality workers with free 8ball and staff priced beers and ciders on tap with tunes by DJs Duncan & Stevie

· !st & 3rd Tuesday of each month is Cranker Comedy. Free entry to see Adelaide’s emerging & established comedians doing their thing from 8pm in the band room.

WEDNESDAYS

· “GEEK” with DJ Trip – this night has been rockin along for almost ten years every Wednesday with Adelaide’s very own DJ Trip playing music for geeks and freaks from 9.30-3.30 with cheap ass $2 schooners of Coopers Pale 9.30-11pm.

THURSDAYS

· Adelaide’s local up and coming bands have the stage every Thursday from 9pm while the front bar kicks along to the sounds of DJs Kitten and Fox from 9-close.

FRIDAYS & SATURDAYS

· Definitely the night to be at the Cranker checking out some of Australia’s best bands and DJ’s playing in the band room. Bands start at 9 and it’s always free entry!

SUNDAYS

· 1st & 3rd Sundays each month are All Ages Shows in the band room with anywhere from 5 bands playing throughout the day.

· 2nd & 4th Sundays have acoustic Folk & blues in the front bar from 5pm.
