For musicians all over the word and throughout history, radio (national, community and otherwise) has often been seen to be the spark that sets a musical artist’s career alight, and with it the team of professionals that often surrounds them. Sure, the spark that radio provides can open the doors to a whole range of opportunities, for artist and professional alike, but how do you secure airplay? How do you get your tracks to those people that need to hear it?

In this workshop, the many pathways to securing radio play (the results of airplay and the principles involved) will be opened up for discussion and examined from the perspective of artists that have seen differing levels of support from radio in its many formats, along with the variety of industry professionals that are involved in running a radio station, servicing artists to it and deciding who finally makes it to the airwaves.

Free Nibbles Provided – Drinks for Sale.

Doors Open at 1pm.
