Max Savage and his merry troupe of False Idols have recently finished their debut album ‘True Believers’ and are celebrating by throwing a release party on Sunday 24-April at Jive. The album abandons the Americana sensibilities of previous material, and embraces the old-fashioned rock’n’roll sounds of Go-Betweens, Noiseworks, Paul Kelly and The Church.
