Sydney hip-hop superstars Bliss N Eso are teaming up with Telstra Road to Discovery (TRTD), to deliver a first-of-its-kind, interactive education master class where music lovers from around the globe can participate via a live stream.

Co-hosted by Ella Hooper, the event takes place in Sydney at 5pm on Friday 25 September. Yes, Sydney – BUT again, you can be anywhere in the world and still be able to ‘tune in’, engage, and participate in this masterclass via live streaming!

What to expect? Bliss N Eso will take the audience on “an educational journey of their career” and share the things that helped them cultivate one of the biggest and most active fan bases in Australia. The band will demonstrate music creation and performance, through to writing, recording and touring. The theatre and online participants can engage with the three band members throughout the session via social media, as well as a dedicated Q&A session. This video will give you a bit of an idea of what’s to come.

This event is a first for the TRTD grassroots talent development program, but it’s a fitting one, as it’s Telstra’s technology that will allow this kind of fan interaction. Taking place in the recently-developed Customer Insight Centre Telstra Theatre doesn’t hurt either, with its floor to ceiling 8 metre-wide LED wall, custom designed 80 audio speaker system, 21 active acoustic microphones, intelligent lighting and HD cameras.

“Making it big in the music scene is never easy,” says MC Bliss (Jonathon Notley), “but we hope that with this collaboration with Telstra Road to Discovery, we are able to inspire more artists and songwriters to further develop their craft.”

If you’re in Sydney and want to attend in person, register ASAP at telstra.com/TRTD. Otherwise, tune in to the free live stream (Friday 25 Sept from 4.50pm – 8.15pm AEST) by visiting facebook.com/blissneso.
