Georgia Germein

Georgia Germein is a young folk/pop singer-songwriter for Adelaide’s quickly rising sibling band Germein Sisters.

The girls’ catchy melodies, heartfelt lyrics, and distinctive sibling harmonies attracted the attention of Irish producer Billy Farrell (The Corrs), with their debut album “Because You Breathe” entering the Top 100 Album Sales Charts in Switzerland, and single “Da Da Doo” in the Top 100 Mainstream Radio Charts in Germany.

In 2014 they secured a Top 5 nomination for Best Pop Artist, Best Band, and Best Song in the Fowlers Live Music Awards; and First Prize in the Tamworth Country Music Festival Busking Competition, In 2015 the girls opened for Sting and Paul Simon in Adelaide, and performed at the UK Isle of Wight Festival (feat. Fleetwood Mac, Pharrell Williams).

Georgia’s songwriting awards include a finalist in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest, semifinalist in the International Songwriting Competition, and winner of seven ASME Young Composers Awards.
