Jamie has also built his own cigar box guitar, Rosita, with whom he performs a range of both original and classic slide guitar blues.

Highlights include performing solo for 5,000 people at the Adelaide Convention Centre to staging his own Adelaide Fringe Show, Life, Love and the Death of a Cowboy. A live show consists of his own penned songs with a good mix of lost and forgotten classics from outlaw country music.
Jamie’s music has been compared to such artists as Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, Tom Petty, Leonard Cohen, Kim Salmon, Nick Cave, The Triffids and Neil Young by industry profesionals, press and fans alike.
Jamie resides in Strathalbyn with his wife, poet and artist Tikarma Vodicka-McPherson and their three chickens, the Staples. He enjoys music, cinema, classic literature, the Australian bush, tall tales, being politically incorrect, drinking whiskey and eating cheese.
