South Coast Folk Club- Pt Noarlunga Bowling Club

South Coast Folk Club is one of the biggest and most popular in the near Adelaide area. It is not unusual to walk into one of our free Thursday night sessions to find upwards of fifty or sixty musicians, singers, storytellers, supporters and visitors all joining in the fun! You will find people from all walks of life, young and old, often from many parts of the world. The emphasis is on sharing – while there are quite a few experienced musicians associated with the Club, they are only too happy to welcome and listen to raw beginners at the sessions and perhaps give a few pointers. If you’re in Adelaide on a Thursday night, why not take a drive down the coast and join us – you’ll certainly be made welcome! Our sessions are held from 8pm till midnight at the Port Noarlunga Bowling Club, Hunt Reserve, River Road, Port Noarlunga – alongside the Onkaparinga River. The session is free and the Bowling Club is licensed.

Apart from the weekly come-all-ye sessions, the Club also presents regular concerts – often featuring touring International & Interstate performers – and we publish a quarterly newsletter which can be downloaded from our website.
