Good Music Month elevates the profile of live music in South Australia by providing a platform for artists, venues and industry professions to showcase their talents. Good Music Month encompasses a diverse range of live music experiences, ranging from contemporary music performances in local pubs to grand-scale ticketed music festivals, opera, and orchestral concerts and beyond.
Good Music Month premiered in 2023 and saw over 650 live music events and over 2000 artists participating. 2024 marks the second Good Music Month and is set to be even bigger this year!
MusicSA CEO Christine Schloithe says:
“It’s no secret that the music industry is facing tough times, and our beloved South Australian industry is doing it very tough. Good Music Month is a spotlight that amplifies all live music right across South Australia every November. This year free registration is offered for all music venues, artists, festivals and events to participate in Good Music Month so we can all collectively showcase our incredible artists and venues and drive local and visiting audiences to live music state-wide.”
