These industry development workshops will bring the best of the industry to you, offering free opportunities to gain insight from some of the nation’s leading experts.

We’re facilitating workshops on topics you’ve asked for through feedback and at our twice-yearly Sound Check sessions, and workshops on topics we’ve identified as gaps in industry knowledge for locals.

Nice To Meet You 
February 6 From 5:30 pm-7:30 pm at Songbird Society at 106 Gibson St, Bowden, Kaurna Land

Our inaugural Nice to Meet You networking session will be at Songbird Society in Bowden. At this session, you will meet the team at Songbird, learn about what they are doing and the services they will offer in 2025, and hang out for a general networking good time.

February 26 From 5:30 pm-7:30 pm at Jive at 181 Hindley St, Adelaide, Kaurna Land.

Jess Wust from Cult Artists and Jimmy Kleiner from Select Music are heading to Adelaide to share their insights on agenting for one night only. Suitable for artists, managers, venue bookers and other agents.

As two of Australia’s most hard-working and cutting-edge agents, Jess and Jimmy are exceptionally well placed to answer all your hot topic questions, like what are agents looking for in 2025, how has pitching and touring strategy changed post-major festival redundancy, how important even is it to have an Australian agent these days, and how are things shifting domestically as promoters encroach further and further onto Australian shores.

Doors open at 5:30 for a panel start at 6:00. Question time and networking time are included in the session.

In this session we will discuss some of the wider issues impacting artist management and how the industry can best work to navigate these challenges.

In this interactive session, we will work through some of the steps to take to increase your ticket sales.
