SA artists make their mark once again at the 2016 APRA Music Awards ceremony held in Sydney last night. The Hilltop Hoods, Sia and Cold Chisel were among the artists to be acknowledged for their achievements and excellence in Australian music.
Cold Chisel received the Ted Albert award for Outstanding Services to Australian Music, whereby Don Walker gave a heart-felt speech expressing thanks those to who have helped them over the years and recognising their humble beginnings in Adelaide.
Although missing in action at this years awards, the smash hit Chandelier saw Sia back in the limelight after being awarded the Most Played Australian Work Overseas. Our very own Hilltop Hoods also took out Urban Work Of The Year for their track Cosby Sweater.
