Musicians of Australia – let us all celebrate Record Store Day this Saturday 18th April by supporting our beloved local retail record shops!

Hopefully your own stuff is in stock too, so show them some love.

In Adelaide, scene stalwart Clarity Records will be trading for an incredible 24 HOURS STRAIGHT, from midnight Friday the 17th of April to midnight Saturday the 18th of April. Not only will you find a range of exclusive music releases from overseas, but also special limited edition t-shirts and a host of local treats.

New kid on the block ‘Backwater Records‘ will be open from noon to 4pm, with 20% off vinyl from local seller UnderGround Records, a music distribution enterprise operated by Squirrell Gripp Records & Music Palooza owner Craig Radcliffe. UGR is home to the heavy and sells its stock on consignment through the Backwater Records shopfront. Get in and grab some deals.

Finally, down in Semaphore, Mr V’s Music will keep the momentum going with a Sunday Record Fair and Music Sale at St Bede’s Hall. The 8th edition of the event runs from 10am-4pm, with FREE entry and 25 traders hosting 50 tables of stock for sale, including vinyl records, CDs, DVDs, music books & magazines and more.

Bring money, get music!
