Are you an unsigned artist in South Australia ready to take your music to the next level? MusicSA is thrilled to announce that applications for Scouted 2025 are now open!

Scouted provides a unique platform for select local artists to showcase their talent in front of influential national and international music industry representatives, including indie record labels and management from across the country and overseas. This is your opportunity to be seen, heard, and potentially discovered on a global scale!

Key Dates for Scouted 2025:

  • May 7: Scouted Applications Open
  • May 23: Artist Applications Close (11:59 PM ACST)
  • August 1: Scouted 2025 Official Showcase

What You Can Gain from Scouted:

  • A paid opportunity to perform live in front of national and international music industry professionals.
  • Industry development training from MusicSA, plus assistance in developing an Electronic Press Kit (EPK).
  • Match-made networking opportunities with relevant Indie-Con Australia conference delegates.
  • One complimentary delegate pass per selected act to attend the Indie-Con Australia Conference AND the 2025 AIR Awards.

Eligibility Highlights:

  • You must be an unsigned artist (not signed to a major label or large indie label with significant national/international infrastructure). 
  • All performing members must be 18 years or older at the time of the event.
  • You must be a South Australian based artist (at least 50% of members residing in SA, or demonstrably identify as a SA act).
  • Artists selected for a previous Scouted showcase are ineligible to apply.

Scouted culminates alongside the Australian Independent Record Labels Association’s annual Indie-Con Australia conference, held right here in Adelaide/Kaurna Yerta, a UNESCO City of Music. Don’t miss this incredible opportunity to showcase your talent and connect with the Australian and international music industry.
