Adelaide Solo Guitarist, Composer, Songwriter, Multi-instrumentalist, Performer

He wowed audiences as the opening act for the On the Verge concert at Elder Park during the 2007 Adelaide International Guitar Festival, sharing the bill with world-class guitarists Ed Kuepper, Kaki King, David Lindley and Vernon Reid. In 2009 he supported Pink Floyd Bassist, Guy Pratt at his Adelaide show; and he opened for world-class progressive rock band Unitopia in Adelaide in early 2010. In more recent years he has performed interstate, made further appearances in the Adelaide Guitar Festival, organised special concerts, as well as becoming a popular performer in cafés and restaurants, particularly in the southern vales and beaches region of Adelaide.
Rob is a diverse performer. His music is very eclectic, with influences from all genres of music. Playing guitar and vocal folk-style numbers, multi-layered psychedelic epics, and electronic soundscapes, incorporating loads of improvisation and unearthly sounds, Rob’s performance is sure to entertain anybody with a true love of musical expression and an appreciation of instrumental virtuosity.
A multi-award winning composer, Rob has provided music for several films, and has released a number of albums on CD and online, including the highly acclaimed TERRAFIRMA (2007).
