ABOUT US
OUR MISSION
MusicSA is the peak body and advocate for the South Australian contemporary music industry. An independent and not-for-profit organisation, MusicSA exists to:
- Promote, support and develop the local industry.
- Nurture careers, create pathways, and deliver industry and professional development opportunities and strategic programs and projects.
- Connect artists, audiences, venues, and businesses.
MusicSA sits at the nexus of the state and national music industries. It operates solely for the benefit of the state-based grassroots music industries and without vested or commercial interests. As the South Australian peak body for the South Australian contemporary music industry, MusicSA is a leader, advocate, role-model and agitator.
MusicSA, together with the other state and territory peak bodies (MusicACT, MusicNSW, MusicNT, QMusic, MusicTAS, MusicVIC, WAM), forms AMIN, the Australian Music Industry Network.
