Elder Hall is one of Australia’s finest concert halls and is located in the heart of Adelaide in the grounds of the University of Adelaide on North Terrace. The Hall, built in 1900, was completely refurbished in 1978. It has a capacity of 660 seats and is suitable for many different types of events. Whilst being renowned as a classical performance venue for it’s excellent acoustic and professional facilities, an upgrade of the audio-visual capabilities in 2016 has made it an attractive prospect for local and touring bands and performance artists looking for a medium sized venue.
Elder Hall may be hired on a per performance, per day, or per day and evening basis. Instrument hire is also available including two Steinway pianos, percussion, organ and harpsichord.
