Ladyz In Noyz Australia presents a tour that sees a group of female sound, noise and experimental artists host workshops, panel discussions and of course preform across this great continent of ours!
The tour launches the most comprehensive collection of women in this genre Ladyz in Noyz Australia Vol I & II.
LINA founded in Australia Lara Soulio (Melbourne via Adelaide) is a subsidiary of LIN International. The OZ tour covering Bendigo, Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney and Newcastle sees a number of the female noise artists both showcase and teach their craft.
At Format (Sept 26) you will find the panel hosted by International founder Marlo Eggplant discussing women in experimental music. The workshop hosted by Katie Martin of X in O will demonstrate how making music is only limited by your imagination, by showing a number of tricks including hacking children’s toys into experimental musical noise makers! This will all be followed by a show.
Catch them at Sunday Rubdown at the Crown And Anchor Hotel on the Sunday (27th) for some front bar noise madness. Expand you mind and embrace the vast aural texture that Ladyz In Noyz Australia is bringing to our fine State.
