MusicSA is excited to announce that we are delivering two new workshops for emerging artists, as part of our Industry Development programming!
If you are emerging within the music industry, want to know more about how it all works, or want to be the best prepped performer you can be, these are for you!
Presented by Sebastian and Blake from our Industry Development team in collaboration with local industry gurus Rachel from 27 Music (for the first workshop) and Aston from TOWNS (for the second), these workshops will position you best to get direct industry advice and opportunity to have your burning questions answered.
The workshops are FREE to attend, but bookings are essential due to limited capacity.

Intro to the Music Ecosystem will go over everything you need to know to give you a better grasp on how the music industry actually works; what a manager is, what a booking agent is, what a venue booker is, streaming, monetising your music and more!
Plus, hear directly from Rachel, owner of 27 Music and manager of Teenage Joans, Bec Stevens, Montgomery (and more!). Rachel has a wealth of industry experience, having worked across numerous record labels, orgs, tours, bands, festivals and events!
Follow up your Intro to the Music Ecosystem workshop with Live Performance & Touring the next week, to discuss performing and stage presence along with all the tips and tricks for touring, delivered by none other than Aston from TOWNS!
Aston has performed countless shows, starting from being the opener all the way to national headline tours, playing major festivals and sold out shows alongside some of the biggest names. Aston knows how important it is to give an impactful performance and tour effectively, making the most of your opportunities and connecting with audiences.
Navigating the industry is difficult when there’s so many moving parts and no one to explain it to you with direct experience, bit by bit. We’re here to help do that.
We hope to see you there!
