MusicSA is excited to announce the local artists who will be taking their talents to the stage, opening for some massive acts in front of thousands at the 2023 VAILO Adelaide 500 After Race Concert series!

In collaboration with VAILO Adelaide 500 and the SA Motor Sport Board, MusicSA is thrilled to introduce four incredible South Australian emerging talents: DJ SVVLO, Purée, Mum’s Favourite, and Rob Edwards.

As a highlight of MusicSA’s Good Music Month – a month-long, open-access music festival celebrating South Australia’s vibrant live music scene throughout November – the VAILO Adelaide 500 After Race Concerts offer a prime platform for these renowned local artists to reach wider audiences on one of South Australia’s grandest stages.

Friday, November 24 – DJ SVVLO will open for:

MusicSA’s CEO Christine Schloithe has said on the event,

“Adelaide 500 and MusicSA have partnered together on the After-Race Concerts for more than a decade and together we create valuable opportunities for emerging South Australian acts to be featured on artist line-ups for the popular After-Race Concerts. VAILO Adelaide 500 is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for exciting emerging local talent to play on the same bill as nationally and internationally renowned artists, and to play to large outdoor audiences. It provides critical professional development and pathway opportunities for local musicians and shines an important spotlight on local live music.”

After more than a decade VAILO Adelaide500 made the decision to retire the ‘Bands on Track’ brand but continue to invite South Australian artists to be an integral part of the After-Race Concert line-ups. MusicSA and VAILO Adelaide500 continue to work together to support emerging local artists who are at the right level and time in their careers to make the most of the big-stage opportunity and who thematically suit each of the concert line-ups and audiences.
