In a great loss to SA music, news comes this morning that rock jock extraordinaire David ‘Daisy’ Day as passed away after a long illness.
Known for his wit, cheeky sense of humour and passion for music, he was a tireless supporter of the local scene.
His long serving role in Support Act Ltd’s SA branch brought a huge list of fellow legends along to the monthly sessions of the charity luncheon, affectionately known as ‘Daisy’s Debonairs’.
Most recently he worked closely with the Adelaide Music Collective to showcase an incredible collection of historic music memorabilia via the SA Music Hall of Fame. Daisy also held the honour of interviewing and inducting its prestigious members during the AMC Live Sessions.
His enduring enthusiasm for all things SA music will be remembered with great respect, and he will be sorely missed.
