CreateSA has commenced a comprehensive review of its grants programs and processes to ensure they continue to effectively support South Australia’s artists, creative practitioners, and arts organisations. The review aims to strengthen how grants are designed, delivered, and managed, while aligning funding programs with the state’s long-term cultural policy, A Place to Create.

This survey is open to all who have applied for, received or assessed grants in the creative industries in South Australia, including grants delivered by CreateSA and the MDO.

Importantly, all existing grant programs will continue to operate as normal during the review period. Feedback gathered through surveys and stakeholder workshops will be used to identify opportunities for improvement across the entire grants lifecycle, from application and assessment through to delivery and acquittal. As part of this process, some participants may also be invited to take part in in-person feedback sessions to share more detailed insights and experiences.

CreateSA encourages artists, creatives, and organisations who have applied for or engaged with its grants programs to participate and share their experiences, helping to shape a more accessible, effective, and supportive funding system for South Australia’s creative community.
