Alexander Black

Adelaide musician Alexander Black combines pop production aesthetics with a singer songwriter craft to produce attitude giving, energy filled works with meaningful messaging.
Sharing music focused towards queer, sexually and gender diverse people, Alexander hopes to inspire emotional growth and understanding. Breaking pre-conceived heteronormative ideas about narratives and queer clichés through his music, Alexander hopes to subvert people’s expectations and challenge their ideas of queerness in our society.
Alexander is largely inspired by a mix of modern indie pop band The 1975, queer pop artists Troye Sivan, MUNA, and The Japanese House and more classic singer songwriters like Phoebe Bridgers, Father John Misty and Bob Dylan.
