Alex Mader

Specializing in Electronic, Hip Hop and Popular Music, Alex’s studio credits include Hilltop Hoods, Tkay Maidza, Allday, Lonelyspeck and PNK FME, with releases for Universal, Sony, and Future Classic across USA, AUS & SWE.

Trained under Grammy Award winning engineers and producers including Dave Pensado, Bob Horn, and Jared Lee Gosselin in LA, Alex served as mastering engineer alongside Adelaide’s veteran Neville and Ros Clark at Disk-Edits, Adelaide until it’s retirement in 2021.

Now based at his own private studio in the Adelaide Hills, Alex provides mastering services to a number of artists and bands, as well as mixing, production and consulting for the right projects.

Alex is currently writing his doctoral thesis which presents a foundational theory of recording technology, its fundamental limitations and future applications.
