MusicSA proudly presents the first suite of events to be announced as part of the Good Music Month 2023 program.

November 2023 will see the first ever Good Music Month – a month-long, state-wide and open-access South Australian music festival.

Registrations are still open to participate in Good Music Month, and close Tuesday October 31 2023.

Today, MusicSA announces some truly epic acts in the first line-up release, including Short Stack, Jebediah, The Mark of Cain, Teen Jesus & The Jean Teasers, plus two unmissable performances from ARIA award-winning rockers Birds Of Tokyo, who will grace the Festival Theatre with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra!

The Note will be hosting the opening event for Good Music Month, Saturday 4 November at the University of Adelaide’s Cloisters and UniBar, which doubles as The Note’s inaugural birthday bash NoteStock! Featuring Queensland’s Beddy Rays, SA’s punk/alt-rockers Molly Rocket (Scouted 2023 alumni and 2022 SA Music Awards winners!), your fave local alt-psych Druid Fluids plus more!

Good Music Month isn’t just for the Adelaide metro though. Highlighting the truly high quality and dedicated music scene out in the regions, Good Music Month program announces Barossa event Rock House: Strike a Chord at the Steins Taphouse, featuring Newgate Crowd, Violet Harlot and Rafikee, with part proceeds to Support Act.

If you’re regionally based and putting on a live music event this November, make sure you register for Good Music Month!

Good Music Month also promotes the niche and unique live music events that SA does best, such as the Twilight Cruise down the Murray River with live music on none other than a Paddle-Steamer by MarionCruises.

Putting on a live music event in November and want to see it listed alongside these massive acts and events? Apply for Good Music Month now! Registrations closing Tuesday October 31.

Good Music Month is already lined up to be huge. We can’t wait to share more with everyone through our online Good Music Month program guide.
