MusicSA is excited to share that registrations have officially opened for MusicSA’s annual, state-wide, open access live music festival Good Music Month!
Good Music Month takes place for the month of November and invites the involvement of artists, venues, promoters, agents, managers, music industry businesses, arts and cultural organisations to register their events here.
Good Music Month elevates the profile of live music in South Australia by providing a platform for artists, venues and industry professions to showcase their talents. Good Music Month encompasses a diverse range of live music experiences, ranging from contemporary music performances in local pubs to grand-scale ticketed music festivals, opera, and orchestral concerts and beyond.
Good Music Month premiered in 2023 and saw over 650 live music events and over 2000 artists participating in it’s inaugural year. We are gearing up Good Music Month’s third year, set to be our biggest yet!
MusicSA’s CEO Christine Schloithe says:
“Who doesn’t love seeing live music? Recent research shows that while Australians love live music, we’re not seeing as much live music as we used to. South Australia’s music industry is doing it tough, which is why we run Good Music Month every November alongside Aus Music Month. Good Music Month amplifies the local live music in your backyard and offers free registration to music venues, artists and festivals to list their live music events. This November, register your gig and go see live music somewhere in South Australia!”
