MusicSA is proud to announce the appointment of three highly respected entertainment industry professionals to its Board in Leko Novakovic, Kate Russo, and Isobella Caruso, each set to deliver significant experience, insight, and a deep passion for the South Australian music industry at a pivotal moment in the organisation’s growth and sector advocacy.

Leko Novakovic, Managing Director of leading event hire and production company, Novatech, joins the board with over 28 years of experience in the live production industry. Renowned for his leadership and innovation, Leko is a driving force behind some of Australia’s most memorable event and live music experiences.

Isobella Caruso, known across the industry as ‘Bel’, is the founder of creative agency Rebel Yell and an award winning music and events publicist. With two decades of hands on experience across festivals, artist campaigns, venue promotion and national tours, Bel brings critical industry insight and advocacy to the MusicSA board.

Kate Russo, General Manager of Adelaide Entertainment Centre and Coopers Stadium, brings over 16 years of venue and event experience and has long been a passionate advocate for South Australia, actively building, promoting and celebrating Adelaide’s vibrant live music and entertainment scene. Kate has played a central role in revitalising Adelaide’s major music venues, including reintroducing live music to The Drive in 2024.

“I am honoured to join the MusicSA Board and look forward to collaborating with and learning from music industry professionals and colleagues. I hope to contribute a unique perspective through my experience and support the continued growth and vibrancy of our music community,” said Kate Russo

As we look ahead to delivering the 2026 Regional and Remote Music Summit in Mount Gambier, a new Strategic Plan and all of our many other events and industry development support to our vibrant industry, the future looks very bright indeed”

These new appointments join existing board members John Glenn (Chair), Tim Haslam (Treasurer), Angus Crawford (Secretary) and Emily Drewniak (Board Director).
