MusicSA is pleased to announce the return of our South Australian Music Industry Survey for 2026. This yearly survey helps MusicSA build a comprehensive picture of the current contemporary music industry in South Australia.

The survey data is collected and used each year to assist in informing our approach to advocacy for the sector, they help us better reflect the current opportunities and challenges the industry faces in our programs.

Survey participation is fully annonymous and should take around 15 minutes to complete. Survey closes on Survey closes May 31 at 11:59pm.

HOW WILL MUSICSA USE THE SURVEY OUTCOMES? 

The survey data is collected and used each year to assist in informing our approach to advocacy for the sector, they help us better reflect the current opportunities and challenges the industry faces in our programs. More detailed insight from across the industry supports us to champion for what you need and to advocate to government and key stakeholders on your behalf. 

WHO SHOULD PARTICIPATE? 

We are calling upon all working music industry professionals to participate, from artists to managers, venue operators and managers, government workers, photographers, booking agents, event production crew, gig attendees, local music enthusiasts, allied industries and beyond. If your work intersects with this industry in any way, we want to hear from you! 

HOW WILL OUTCOMES BE SHARED? 

The key findings will be collated and shared mid-year and all results will be compiled into a full report for industry, government and stakeholders.
