DJ Sepia

DJ Sepia (aka Dan Monceaux) is a global grooves DJ and beat producer. A South Australian with Caribbean ancestry, Sepia cut his teeth as a DJ on Tribe FM with his weekly radio show The Backbeat in 2019. From playing mellow dawn sets at bush doofs to 4-hour dancefloor club epics at Casablabla, Sepia mixes roots reggae, dancehall, dub, afrobeat, amapiano, reggaeton, cumbia, latin, hip hop, funk, dub, jazz, breaks, drum ‘n’ bass , jungle, soul, disco and house to get your head nodding and your waist winding. Past residencies include Thirsty Tiger, Hades Hula House and Wakanda Place. In addition to performing as a DJ, Sepia is a multi-instrumentalist, has played in several live acts (Dagman Allstars, Smorgasbord, Papa Kwei & the Iri-ites, 9 ½ Incas, Supermarket) and produces original beats. He is available for touring artist supports, interstate bookings, live and studio production work, including remixes and edits.
